Mamby on the Beach takes over the Chicago lakefront this weekend, and while nothing can really compare to dancing all day on the beach, there are still plenty of places to dance the night away when the music shuts down. React has thrown together another great roster of afterparties, and we’re here to help you choose where to close out your evenings on Saturday and Sunday. We’ve picked our two favorite parties for each night, and we’ll let you decide from there.

Thomas Jack – Concord Music Hall

Thomas Jack is an absolute perfect artist to play a daytime set on the beach, which is exactly what he’ll be doing at Mamby on Saturday. But just in case you miss his festival set, or if you just can’t get enough of his music, he’ll be throwing down his tropical house at Concord Music Hall later in the night. Sun and sand or not, his music will still get you moving.

Hannah Wants – Evil Olive

Hannah Wants and Thomas Jack are playing at the same time at Mamby, which is a shame since they’re both phenomenal artists. Luckily, they’re both playing afterparties that night, so whoever you miss at Mamby be sure to catch at their afterparty that night. Hannah Wants’ deep dark house is perfect for a packed club late at night, which is exactly what you’ll find at Evil Olive.

Mayer Hawthorne (DJ Set) – Virgin Hotels Cerise Rooftop

What better way to close out a weekend of dancing on the beach than dancing the night away at a rooftop club overlooking the beautiful Chicago skyline? This would probably be our number one pick regardless of who was playing, but the fact that Mayer Hawthorne is DJing is just icing on the cake.

Loco Dice & The Martinez Brothers – The MID

If you didn’t spend enough time in the DJ Tent at Mamby and wanted to get your fill of house and techno, this is the perfect way to do just that. Loco Dice & The Martinez Brothers are wasting no time, going straight from closing out the festival to playing all night at The Mid, where the music won’t stop until your legs stop working.

Mamby on the Beach takes place at Oakwood Beach in Chicago on July 2nd and 3rd. Tickets for the festival and afterparties are available here.
